Statement
Being a visual artist has opened up the possibility for me to connect with more artists from diverse backgrounds and create a community. I love connecting with my Hispanic roots and my culture. Art has helped me connect with the depths of my being. Creating a piece helps me understand what I'm feeling. I like to do colorful work because I believe that color gives meaning to my life.
